Amy Elise Holland is a native Austinite, former elementary school teacher, and hobby baker. Growing up, her family shared a Christmas cookie decorating tradition that sparked a desire to learn how to make prettier cookies. She has spent the past five years practicing and perfecting the craft of artisan cookies.
"Sweet Elise" originated from the middle name that was passed down from her beloved grandmother. They spent many years in the kitchen together, and it felt like the best way to honor really special memories.
In August of 2013 Sweet Elise was made official under the Texas Cottage Food Law. Amy has since enjoyed making creative treats for special occasions, and sharing the knowledge she has gained over the years.
